We visited Budapest sometime back, a city of striking architecture, thermal baths, exceptional culinary offerings, and welcoming atmosphere. The destination offers a wealth of activities and opportunities for exploration. As an enthusiast of local cuisine, I particularly liked delicacies like ‘Langos‘ a deep-fried dough resembling a thick, round flatbread topped with sour cream, cheese, and various extra toppings. I also sampled chicken goulash, which had a prominent flavour of Hungarian paprika, and served alongside small dumplings. The city’s vibrant restaurant scene features many restaurants and lively cafés, creating a very lively ambiance throughout the day.

While in Budapest, I spent an enjoyable day with my very good friend, who was also on a holiday with her family. As we love visiting cafe’s we went to a charming cafe offering an extensive range of Hungarian pastries and desserts. The cafe also featured a variety of chocolates available for buying, either as gifts or for personal enjoyment.
We sampled three different cakes that particularly caught our attention, with flavorful fruity tea and some coffee. The ambiance was enhanced by the cafe’s high ceilings, traditional decor, and impressive large paintings on the walls. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed pleasant atmosphere and had a memorable experience.
