While on a lovely holiday to the French Riviera in Nice, visiting the restaurant ‘La Vela’ right on the beach was a true treat. The beautiful view of the blue sea made the restaurant feel very intimate and inviting, complemented by the prominent colours of white and blue.

The food was equally as good as the ambiance. I ordered a lovely seafood main of Sole fish, which was deboned before serving it to me, while my family opted for Chicken and Margarita Pizza. I enjoyed my main with a refreshing Pina Colada.

We finished our meal with a very French dessert, which is one of my favourites: the ‘Crème Brûlée’. The portion size was generous for our family, and we savoured it thoroughly to the last bite!

Lovely relaxing meal enjoyed in a beautiful seaside restaurant, what more can you ask for! The gentle sound of the waves provided a soothing background music, and the fresh sea breeze added to the delightful atmosphere. It was a perfect afternoon, allowing us to appreciate the simple joys in life.
