
INGREDIENTS:
Butter – 100 gms.
Caster sugar – 50 gms
Vanilla extract – 1 tsp.
Plain flour – 75 gms.
METHOD:
Preheat the oven to 150 C / Gas 2.
In a mixing bowl, add in the butter and sugar and mix well until light and fluffy.
Add in the vanilla and mix well till its well amalgamated, then add the flour and mix well. Roll out to about 5mm. Cut into shapes. I have used different shapes of cookie cutters.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Some ideas:
- You can enjoy these biscuits as it is or you can make an icing mixture using icing sugar and little water and drizzle over the cooled biscuits.
- You can also dip part of it or just the top into a melted chocolate and leave it to cool.
